I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Tastewise (Tel Aviv-Yafo) in Sep 2023
Interview
The fact that all the interviews were conducted on-site raised an initial red flag. tl;dr- my interaction with the interviewing team was marked by their lack of preparation , a lack of respect for my time, and a rather glitchy system. I was asked to prepare a presentation. However, the time and effort it took to create this presentation was significantly extended due to the numerous glitches and unresponsiveness of their platform. The system had errors even as I was presenting. Additionally, it became quite evident that the interviewers themselves were not prepared for my interview, further complicating the process. While preparing for this interview I got a glimpse into their customer experience with the platform- frustrating. After investing more time than I should have in the presentation, mainly due to the platform's instability, I received a rejection email. When I asked for feedback, the response was disappointingly brief, offering no constructive insights or lessons, only stating, "The presentation wasn't good enough."
The first conversation with the company went well, and they asked for a presentation that required some research into their platform. However, during the presentation, their behavior was extremely discourteous and disruptive, making it seem like they wanted me to fail. It was one of the most unpleasant interview experiences I have ever had, and their unprofessionalism was evident through their lack of attention, leaving the presentation midway, or multitasking on something else. This conduct does not bode well for the work culture, and I would not recommend working for this company based on my experience.

Interview
After 2 interviews that went really well and pretty professional, they didn't even send a "thank you for your time but we've decided to move on with other candidates" generic email.
