Started with a call with the recruitment and people team who gave more information about the role and culture, followed by hiring manager, technical and product interviews. Everyone was really friendly and helpful.

Question 1
What's something you've built that you're particularly proud of?
I applied through other source. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Taptap Send (London, England) in Jan 2026
Interview
The interview process was throughout but in being so, it gave you a real sense of the company and the team. I met/interviewed with 6 different team members as part of the process which I thought allowed me to really know what I was working towards and also made me feel confident I was selected fairly and confidently. I really enjoyed the different stages; online conversations, tasks to present back and the office visit.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Taptap Send (London, England) in Dec 2025
Interview
Fairly typical for senior - phone interview w recruiter, interview with future manager, two technical interviews back-to-back. The first was Leetcode-style and was fairly straightforward. The second was a roleplay-style system design interview. I should stress this is not like a FAANG-style interview and was much more modest (and realistic) in scale. This is really important for those trying to prepare! Don't learn how to design YouTube for this - and this isn't the first time I've seen this approach before either. Finally a cultural fit interview with the COO.

Question 1
I was asked to design a hypothetical new feature for the mobile app. This was done in a roleplay style where we discussed APIs, how I might work with product, how I might delegate, and various aspects of software development.
