I applied online. I interviewed at TNTP in Apr 2022
Interview
Initial call with recruiter was lackluster, she didn't seem to care at all and was just going through the motions. Got an email a week later asking to complete two tasks before even being able to talk to anyone on the team. As a designer looking for a job I'm beyond sick and tired of doing free work. The amount of companies making candidates jump through an excessive amount of hoops is exhausting. I refused to complete the tasks and removed myself from the process. Their interviewing process is archaic and pointless. As I read these other interview comments, I'm happy I didn't waste time with the tasks, it doesn't seem like they care enough to update people after the fact. I dodged a bullet with this org. This place is not worth the effort.
A phone screen which jumps directly to a lengthy hiring process assignment which they then rejected me for without offering any feedback as to why. Quite disrespectful in my opinion and I wonder how many other peoples' time they've wasted for the same job posting.
