Simple 1 assessment, no camera as some of this assessment tend to have, which was surprising. At the end, these results are shared with the hiring manager who then considers you to be presented to new projects.

The recruiter contacted me by the end of November, 2025 and sent me the 2 test assessments for which I was given 1 week to take them. The first is for Java 8 and the second for Java 17. I read other reviews from people who also applied for a job to TekSystems and totally agree with their responses. This company seems to make fool of people, and in one review I read that recruiters only send interviews just for KPI and in my opinion it is most likely the latter one is more truthful. I submitted my responses on the 2-nd of December and keep waiting for a feedback. I kept writing to a recruiter and someone who created this test and was totally ignored and never received any response once yet. I highly recommend to avoid this company from applying, because interviews they offer is completely fruitless and you lose your time for vain. I also noticed that most of Java questions were present in those assessments aren't used in real life problems at all. This point was also mentioned by someone in one of reviews before. In short, I'm completely dissappointed that I don't receive any feedback, nor help from their employees, so they can lead me for next steps to take on.

They asked every Java Core questions. Some problems were given dedicated for code review and finding out what it prints out or replace the line of code so to make code run correctly.
The interview process consisted of four rounds: an initial HR phone screen, a technical coding round, a Level 2 interview, and a final round with the hiring manager. Hiring was smooth.

Interview
Spoke with recruiter from Japan. He told me that I will receive email with online assessment. After 1.5 weeks[!), I got that email. I easily could have missed it, because recruiter did not reach out to me out on that matter at all. I passed that assessment with more than 90 out of 100 scores, which is more than enough. Guess what? 2 weeks passed and no one reached out to me. Ok, I texted recruiter and ask how it is going. He apologized, told that he is going through tough times and reach out to me next week. Looks like he hires not for the company but himself ... Ok, and... 2 more weeks passed - silence. Overral more than 1 month passed after my online assessment. Did not recommend that place at all. Don't waste your time and energy here. Btw online assessment is quite stupid - a lot of questions about java 8, completely made up scenarios which can not exist in real life. Let alone they check java 8 knowledge, and many correct answers for that version is incorrect for newer versions of java. That's ridiculous.
Such attitude towards candidates is insulting.
