I recently had an unpleasant experience during the interview process at Supermom. After the interview, they seemed eager to proceed, repeatedly chasing me for reference check details and payslips. Despite this, things took a frustrating and disappointing turn.
The company ultimately cited concerns over my "job jumpiness" as the reason they couldn’t proceed with the offer approval—this was especially frustrating because this issue had already been discussed and addressed during the interview process. It felt like a last-minute excuse rather than a genuine concern.
What was even more disheartening was that they didn’t even bother to give a courtesy call to me when the offer fell through. I had to reach out to the HR for clarity. Her response was unprofessional and vague, as she initially couldn’t clearly explain why they failed to get business justification for my compensation or why the offer approval didn’t go through. The lack of communication and transparency was incredibly disappointing.
Overall, the process felt disorganized and disrespectful to candidates’ time and effort. I wouldn’t recommend applying unless you’re prepared for a similar frustrating experience.
