I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Sunrun (Irvine, CA) in Sep 2014
Interview
Process took a month. Applied online, first interview was with a recruiter. Then met with the Manager and had a Skype interview with a second Manager. All questions regarding my background which correlated to the job I was applying for. It was easy enough since I had experience in this industry.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sunrun (Denver, CO) in Nov 2021
Interview
Submitted my resume and a recruiter contacted me a week later. First interview was a quick 15 min phone call with the recruiter that was very informational. Then had a 45 minute video interview with the hiring manager. (mine was just one person but I've heard others were interviewed by multiple hiring managers at once). Hiring manager went through a list of very generic interview questions and then gave me time to ask my own questions. They are really looking for people that have a positive attitude and believe that solar is changing the world. Hiring managers are all very casual and friendly in the Project Coordination department so it didn't feel stressful.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about yourself, how do you unwind from stressful situations, tell me about a time you overcame an obstacle at work, talk about your communication style, what sets you apart from other candidates?
Quick and easy interview process. They ask the same questions repeatedly in different forms, and it's pretty exhausting finding different ways to tell the same story. They've got a pretty standard interview format, and they'll ask those typical hard questions about your previous employment responsibilities and how you handled them.

Interview
Shortly after applying via Indeed, I received an email from a hiring manager. We set up a time later in the week as my schedule was pretty full. We confirmed the time and went ahead with my week.
Come the time for the interview, I received a call a few minutes late. I was immediately told that the positions have already been filled. Basically, their process was phone interview and an immediate offer, rather than going through all of their approved applicants.
In an instance like this, where there is no job to be offered, a simple email would have been much more appropriate and professional.
Based on the reviews that I now see, I guess that this is just par for the course for this company. I should have looked at the reviews before sending them my resume.
