Very quick. I got an email a couple weeks after applying to set up a phone interview for the next day. Simple phone interview with manager and was offered the job the next day. The manager turned out to be my direct manager during the internship. I was asked simple questions about my experience.

Phone interview with HR personnel that covered company history and benefits. Phone Interview with hiring manager, asked about my work experience and research experience pertaining to solar powered cells. The interview lasted about 30 minutes. All over was a good experience.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at SunPower (San Jose, CA)
Interview
Phone interview followed by on-site interview. 5-6 engineers were met including directors and managers. They were mostly very nice and carefully listened and gave helpful tips and insights about the company. On-site interview took for a whole day. There were a few technical questions but not very hard and all people were very friendly.
