Interview
First round was a coding exercise that had a Java parsing string and display problem and a basic sql problem and a bunch of optional C problems. They moved pretty slow and reached out a month later to schedule a Saturday early morning recruiter interview who asked questions about APIs

Question 1
How would you approach designing an API and what are the best practices and security?
Did the online Intervue assignment, and the questions were very similar to what all the other Glassdoor reviews say (HTML parsing). Aced it, but the platform constantly flagged me for mouth movement even though my mouth was NOT moving. I think it was due to my facial hair. Absolute waste of time (90 minutes). Do NOT do online assessments for companies that are sent out automatically.
I was invited to an online assessment. The assessment was very annoying with the “cheat detection”. There are 7 questions, one is required and the rest are optional. After a couple weeks, I got a “not moving forward” email.

I applied for the Software Engineer position in April 2026. In May, I received an online assessment and completed it shortly afterward. About a month later, in June, I was contacted by the recruiting team and invited to a first-round interview.
