2. Android Code challenge (they send a GitHub repo which you need to refactor and extend it)

I don't know is there any other steps or not.
In the last call, they asked me about Camera APIs in Android and how much I worked with Camera. Just the questions what did you do with Camera until now? They needed to have someone which has a great background in this area for an specific team. Then I was rejected.
The negative point is there why you didn't ask this easy question at HR step? Why I should spend time and develop a project for you and have other calls then you tell me because of lack of camera knowledge you are rejected???

5 rounds of interview! i was technical from the get go, from the first HR interview he was asking overall technical questions. then came the interview with their team lead, asked technical questions for an hour, then came the task, i did it down to the last detail, fully tested and screenshot tested, then came another 1.5 technical interview session, two engineers asking me questions and to change the code and improve it, then came another session with the HR guy, he was like wow you have done so great gave me all the positive feedback that everyone gave, then came another round of interview! two PR asking me team feat questions, typical questions like how would you handle conflict and etc. i did well they said you did well, then after one day: rejected! thanks alot for 3 weeks of hardship.

Hr interview and then code assignment. they will send the base project and will build a feature on top of that. After that technical interview with another senior android engineer
