I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Subway
Interview
I filled out an online application and two weeks later I received a call wanting to know if I still wanted an interview. I walked in and the manager was sitting in the dining room interviewing a person. I arrived ten minutes early. Be friendly and smile alot! They look for those small details becuase you will always be in front of the customers. That's what got me in. The manager was super nice and carried on conversation while also asking basic interview questions such as Why do you want to work at Subway? My answer was because they hire intelligent people and actually care about how they present themselves to customers unlike McDonalds Burger King etc.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Make sure you have an original answer to the why do you want to work here question. Don't use the typical I need a job line. They want more than thatt.
Very simple and straightforward. Normal questions like availability, have you worked in food service before, etc. I think it depends on location though since friends at other locations have had more substantive or less substantive interviews.
Straightforward and professional with typical fast food interview questions. Friendly and easy to talk to interviewers. Reasonable length and in person made it more comfortable. Great experience and easy interview.
Was pretty average hospitality interview process, focus on customer service in a fast paced environment, how to deal with stress, team work/ collaboration, company values, and your past experience. and availability etc.
