I was first invited to do an interview that went very well and was scheduled to an assessment. I didn’t heard back from them. It took 2 weeks for them to tell me that the position had been filled, but I was encouraged to apply to other positions, but they’re all filled. I think they should update their job postings if there are no spots left.

I applied online through indeed on April 24th 2022. The same day I was invited to schedule a quick introduction interview with one of the representatives of the organization, I chose April 29th 2022. She asked me very basic questions for around 5 to 8 minutes and then selected a pre-planned time for me to have a translation and content writing assessment for about 5 hours with another member of the company. On May 5th, 2022, at 11 am I took the assessment. At that stage, a group of applicants joined a Google meeting where they shared a separate file with each of us with the task to be completed. After completing the task, I sent it through email to the representative who sent me the documents. It’s been around two weeks now and I’m still waiting for their response.

They sent out a Calendly link for me to choose the best time for an interview. After the first interview, they told me I had to do an assessment to test my skills on this field. The assessment took 2 hours and I had to translate text from English into my Native Language, and also create a short text about the topic given. After the assessment they invited me to take another assessment for another position, so another 2h. It took me weeks to hear back from them, and they told me I did well in both assessments, but they decided to go with another candidate. I feel like they could at least have given back my assessment with comments, so I could see what I had done wrong. I feel like I did very well in one of the assessments and do not understand how could I have failed it. My CV was a great fit for the position, so I really would have liked them to provide more detailed feedback after I spend so much time (over 5h) on this.
