I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Stride Rite (The Woodlands, TX)
Interview
It was very personable and I loved the manager there. I had never worked in retail and she gave me a chance. They work with kids so for the most part, the employees and managers are pretty pleasant people. It was a simple interview asking my strengths and weaknesses and my job experience and why you want to work there, and what kind of work environment you liked.
The interview was quick. The manager that interviewed me was very nice and easy-going. I got the job however the manager is different now. He asked basic questions, and although I was nervous he helped break me out of my shell in order to give a good interview!

Why do you want to work for this company?
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Stride Rite (Whitehall, PA) in Feb 2015
Interview
Easy, process was pretty quick and painless. Manager reached me almost immediately, wasn't offered wage I was hoping for. Business was slow so they couldn't offer me the hours that I was looking for. Still a great opportunity for teens and other young people. They prefer sales experience. I had no prior sales experience but they were willing to train me. Training process about 2 weeks long. Pay is decent.
