Interview
I was referred by my bootcamp and the project manager reached out to me via email and sent a coding assessment for front end and back end created by their company. it was multiple choice questions on JavaScript, TypeScript, Node, React, etc.
Project manager scheduled an interview over Microsoft Teams with me, the project manager, and the team lead developer. Developer asked about my projects and experience in boot camp and was told I would hear back in a week.
Project manager scheduled another interview with the CPO. I wasn't really sure why a chief level employee was interviewing me, and I want to note that it's a red flag with how the company is run. CPO asked me the same questions as team lead and told me about the role and how he was trying to diversify the company, and then asked my salary range. They told me I would get an offer letter by next week, and I did and signed (I didn't realize you have to negotiate before the offer since this was my first time being offered a salary job. Don't make my mistake!)

Interview
4 part interview process.
1. Skills test and personality test after applying
2. Phone interview with a recruiter
3. Video(Teams) interview with UI and Engineering leads (very nice and educated people)
4. Final interview with chief production officer.
Final interview went well different. The CPO Nick walked away twice during the teams inerview while I was talking. It made it awkward. He seemed too busy for the interview. At the end of the interview I was told over the weekend SMG would be putting an offer letter together over and hr would reach out to me the following week.
Following week I never heard from Hr. So I reached out to the recruiter. Another week went by no reply, I reached out to the lead with a thank you and asking about an update, TWO weeks later I finally heard back from hr saying they were going in a different direction.
I passed up a job so I would be GHOSTED by streamline media group.
BE CAREFUL, don't pass until you have a letter in hand. I guess that was my mistake.

Interview
Engaging but stressful. The interviewers were friendly, and questions were the usual interview questions. The interviewers also talked about their working experiences which is interesting. The interviewers liked to how i view accounting as a career and were interested in why i choose accounting. They did not ask about the why i choose their company. They asked me if i knew what i would do on a routine basis if they were to hire me.
