Interviewing for a position in a lab, as a PhD student. I was asked about my interests, why I wanted to do a PhD in this field. We then had a technical discussion where the Professor quizzed me about various engineering related aspects of a project

Interview
I sent my resume and they called me in for an interview. The interview felt semi-formal, they seemed to just want to know who I was and what my interests were in. It was very simple and not as intimidating as I would have expected.
