Process was quick. I came in to do a tour and then was asked questions about my skill and expertise. Overall it was not a bad experience. However, I did not hear back from them.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at StagePost (Nashville, TN) in May 2024
Interview
This place feels like a scam. I applied online and the CEO emailed me to interview. The position was advertised as full time hire on the website, but when I got in there they said that it would start as freelance which was something I was not interested in (please be up front with candidates it makes you look bad if you’re not). The interview was extremely unprofessional and all over the place. He clearly had not even looked over my resume before asking me to come in because he was very confused by my previous work. Also, when I asked about the outlook of the company’s future he straight up said he had absolutely no idea (not super promising outlook for a company to admit to). I took a tour of the studio which felt extremely outdated, and it felt like walking through a graveyard. Biggest waste of time.
To start, I was sent an interview invitation, only to not even be chosen for an interview. Not sure what that was about. I hadn’t even applied yet. Do they just spam interview requests?
