I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at St Marylebone Parish Church (London, England) in Nov 2021
Interview
When the time came for my interview, I let one of the staff know I had arrived. One of the interviewers came to meet me at least 15 minutes late with no apology or explanation. I was told there was a change of room via email beforehand and that there would be some stairs to the new room - what they didn't say was that it was quite a lot of stairs within the scaffolding of their building works. By the time we got to the interview room I was hot and tired to be honest. The interview starts and it felt like being interrogated. Quizzing me on how much I knew about the Church and what they do in the community - I listed things but when there were things I forgot, I was made to feel a bit stupid. They asked questions twice about diversity - the second time it felt like a repetition of the first question and I couldn't see the diversity that they seemed to be so interested in so it made me wonder if they really cared or if they were just looking at buzzwords. I was asked if I would take the job if I was offered it (which felt like a strange question in an interview) and when I said yes, the interviewer sort of scoffed and said "really?" It was a waste of time. They weren't interested in me and one of the 3 interviewers was quite rude unprofessional about it.

Question 1
How would you embrace diversity and attract a diverse community of volunteers to the organisation?
I applied in-person. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at St Marylebone Parish Church (London, England) in Mar 2019
Interview
My employment specialist applied for this job role for me and found this role online website. Then, the Finance Manager read my cv and invited me for an interview. The interview was quite straightforward as I answered all the questions and then the Finance manger offered the finance assistant role to me.
