Texted the application number and filled out a quick questionnaire and sent up and interview. After that you fill out an application complete with downloading your resume.
I arrived at the store 5 minutes before my interview. I expected at least a customer service desk or something to let them know I was there, as the cashiers were all 5 deep. So I stood their looking stupid for 10 minutes before an employee walked past me and I told them I had an interview, she pointed out the manager who was having a 15 minute conversation with a customer. I can tell he knows I am there to see him as I have a portfolio in my hand and am just standing there., so instead of saying anything to me, he ends the conversation and goes into open a register. He finally makes eye contact with me, even then we have not been more than 7ft between each other, and he asks if I'm someone I am not. I tell him who I am and what time my interview was. He then closes his register and invites me into his office. He doesn't even offer me a seat as he has a beer vendor enter the office too, so there I stand looking stupid while he deals with the beer vendor. Finally he hands me a piece of paper to fill out w/name, email & phone and availability., so I take it upon myself to have a seat. All while the beer vendor is still in the tiny little office, he begins to ask me questions about my availability. I couldn't believe he was trying to conduct and interview whIle a vendor stands 12" away from me waiting for the manager to print something for him. The whole interview was unorganized and uncomfortable, he didn't ask me one question about my extensive grocery experience, it's like he didnt even review my application or anything. He didn't even ask to see my resume, which they text you the day before and ask you to bring a copy of. After he asked the generic customer service questions he said he'd email in a few days it's been 11 days and I haven't heard anything. I stood up to shake his hand and he just sat there., finally extending his hand. He couldn't even stand up and shake me hand. He had no manners, no respect, was unprepared and unprofessional .! even if I was offered a job I wouldn't take it.
