I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sportserve (Belgrade, Central Serbia) in Nov 2025
Interview
The interview process was smooth, well-structured, and moved at a good pace. Each stage was clearly explained in advance, and expectations were transparent throughout. The overall experience felt professional, respectful, and well-organized from start to finish.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I was asked how many Agile teams I had supported simultaneously and what their typical size was.
Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad the process felt structured, transparent, and respectful. Your comments on the interview questions are appreciated, and we wish you the very best moving forward.
The process dragged on for nearly two months and consisted of several separate rounds, each less organized than the last. I interviewed at Sportserve.
This was one of the most frustrating and time-wasting interview experiences I’ve had. Communication from HR was inconsistent, sometimes taking weeks to reply, and the recruiter often gave vague or misleading updates about the next steps. It felt like they didn’t really know what stage I was in or what the hiring team wanted.
The process itself was uncoordinated. The same questions were repeated by different interviewers, and there was no real structure or feedback after each stage. In the end, I received a generic rejection email that clearly wasn’t personalized.
What makes it worse is that this same role has been advertised for months, which makes you wonder if they’re just interviewing people without any real intention to hire. Future applicants should expect long delays, poor communication, and a recruiter who seems disengaged and unprepared.

Question 1
Mostly standard QA and automation questions, plus a technical task that felt disconnected from the actual job description.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re sorry to hear that the interview process felt unstructured and that communication was not as consistent as it should have been. This is not the experience we aim to provide.
We understand how important clear updates, coordinated interview stages, and meaningful feedback are for candidates, and we regret that we did not meet those expectations in your case.
We appreciate the time and effort you invested and will use your feedback to improve the overall structure and communication of our hiring process. We wish you the very best in your future opportunities.

Interview
The interview process was extremely long and poorly managed. It took almost two months, involved four rounds, and in the end I received a generic rejection with no meaningful feedback. After investing so much time, energy and preparation, this outcome felt dismissive.
Communication was slow, with long periods of silence and no clarity on next steps. On top of that, the position has been open for more than three months, which raises questions about how the process is being handled and what the company is really looking for.
Overall, the experience felt unstructured, prolonged and lacking transparency. Future candidates should be aware of the lengthy timeline and limited communication.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your recent interview experience with us. We sincerely regret that the process felt lengthy and unclear, and we fully acknowledge how important timely communication and structured steps are for our candidates.
Please be assured that your feedback has been taken on board. We are actively reviewing and implementing improvements across our recruitment process to ensure a smoother, more transparent experience for all candidates moving forward.
We truly appreciate the time and effort you invested in engaging with us, and we wish you every success in your future opportunities.
