I applied online. I interviewed at Spirii (Copenhagen, Capital Region) in Apr 2025
Interview
The recruitment process was disappointing and poorly managed. Throughout the process, I had to follow up repeatedly to receive updates on next steps, and at times there were long periods with no communication at all. After weeks of silence, I was eventually rejected without any feedback.
During the interviews, expectations were raised quite high, and I was given the impression that my profile was a strong fit for the role. This made the lack of transparency and closure particularly frustrating.
Overall, the experience reflected a lack of clear communication and candidate care during the hiring process. While rejection is part of any recruitment journey, timely updates and constructive feedback would have made the experience more respectful and professional.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How I would negotiate between a customer asking for a feature and a team wanting to do something else.
I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Spirii (Copenhagen, Capital Region) in Apr 2025
Interview
The process seem very quick and I entered the second round within a short space of time. It was a very open process, but I did not expect a speed friending session with a person from the team. So I could not prepare for this as this was not informed to me.

I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Spirii (Copenhagen, Capital Region) in Feb 2025
Interview
I will summarise four-month-long story,
- in November 2024; I applied
- in December 2024; I received an email, that the process will continue after the new year due to the holidays
- in late January 2025, the process finally began
In five weeks, I have visited the office on two occasions, solved four-hour limited task, although the two-hour code review went in a really pleasant manner, in end I have received generic email that they will process with other candidates with more experience.

Due to the generic nature of the declined response, without any real feedback on what I needed to improve or what knowledge I lacked compared to other candidates, I found Spirii really unprofessional and rude; stay away!
