I have never ever seen a company that ghosts the candidate AFTER THE OFFER.
General interview, followed by a hiring manager interview, and a case study afterwards. The process was all fine until the offer. After the offer, it was a complete disaster. Very very unprofessional.
I was offered a contract, negotiated the compensation and agreed on everything. Due to an uncertainty, I asked to wait until the company achieves a milestone, and I was supposed to be kept up to date about the process so we can define the start date etc.
1-2 updates later, co-founder started ghosting my emails. I am not sure if he has no time to send a 2-sentence email or he is just ashamed that the company didnt manage to achieve that milestone. But it is absolutely and utterly disrespectful to ignore a candidate who spent quite some time and effort on the process and even received an offer.
Keep this in mind if you are considering to work for this company.
