The process gave me the opportunity to speak about myself and my experiences in addition to showcasing my technical skills. My process included a conversation with a Hiring Manager to learn more about myself, asking questions to learn more about the type of teammate I am, the environment I best succeed in, and what motivates me. As I went through the process, I met other leaders who provided context into the role, the day-to-day tasks, and at a high level, what future projects/goals they're working towards. By the time I met the MD, our conversations shifted toward the type of work I wanted (project-based, strategic work, etc) and included small case studies to assess my critical thinking and any technical understanding. Never did I feel the questions or process was set up to see me fail or step out of my comfort zone. All team members took the time to get to know me during our calls and were prompt to follow-up with any updates regarding the next steps or any additional information (references, credentials, etc)
