I was contacted by the Softscape HR representative. He gave me a high-level over view of the position, and informed me that he thought my expereince/background was a fit. After 1-2 phone conversations, I completed the varies IQ and personality tests and met with a senior member of the management team.
Prior to meeting with Sr. Mgt., I did some homework and learned that former employees do not view softscape as a good place to work. I had concerns going into the interview that the organization was "old school," inflexible, and may not be a fit for me culturally. this was confirmed for me during t he interview process where they refused to answer many of my key questions, repeatedly talked about "this not being a 9-5 job," and indicated that flexible work schedules are not allowed. I decided after the interview that I would not entertain an offer if one was given, but they decided to go in an other direction, anyway.
