      ReactJS Developer Interview

      Dec 24, 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Pune
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Sodales Solutions (Pune) in Sep 2025

      Interview

My interview experience with Sodales Solutions was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I went through a total of five rounds—three technical rounds, one HR round, and an additional technical round that was informed very late. After the HR round, I was given an offer that did not match my expectations, and the HR asked for two days to discuss internally and get back to me. Unfortunately, this is where the major issues began. Throughout the entire process, I had to repeatedly follow up after every round because the HR team did not respond to emails or calls. Even when they committed to returning with an update “the next day,” there was no communication unless I continuously reached out. On several occasions, calls were ignored entirely, and updates were delayed by weeks. After being told I needed one more technical round, the walk-in interview finally happened, but again there was no proactive communication afterward. Nearly 15 days later, the HR finally called—only to say the company would not move forward due to “technical improvement needed,” despite already completing four technical rounds earlier. This raised serious concerns about their evaluation consistency and the purpose of conducting so many rounds if criteria were unclear. The role was for a React Developer, yet the interviewers expected deep AWS expertise at a level closer to a DevOps/Cloud Engineer, which was never mentioned in the job description. This added to the confusion and unnecessary extension of the process. Overall, the entire hiring process stretched over almost two months, with poor communication, lack of transparency, and no respect for the candidate’s time or efforts. HR coordination was especially disappointing—unresponsive, unclear, and not supportive at all during any part of the process. For a company where HR is the first point of contact, such behavior reflects very poorly on their internal processes and candidate experience. I hope the company seriously re-evaluates its interview management, communication standards, and respect for candidates’ time, as the current approach leaves a very negative impression.
