SmartAsset has innovative and useful products what makes this start-up quite attractive employer. The company also seem to have enthusiastic, talented and focused developers aboard. The management, however, is disorganized and dishonest in the way their interview and communicate their decisions. Almost every interview step finished with somehow unclear next steps and was unnecessarily dragged with number of e-mails with conflicting feedback. Worse yet, later in the process, the hiring manager communicated that he is willing to make an offer, but instead he went into complete silent mode for days and stopped responding to my e-mails.
