Process: 1) 30 minute recruiter phone call 2) 30 minute hiring manager phone call 3) 1 hour technical interview
Recruiter and Hiring Manager calls were to be expected (learning broadly about the position and company). Technical interview was average leetcode DFS problem. Solved the first part just fine but the followup questions weren't really explained the best. I eventually solved it but still received rejection email shortly after. Whatever I guess

Phone call with the recruiter. Recruiter initially rescheduled the call. Then the recruiter missed our initial phone screen. No apology. I had to reach out to reschedule. On the phone the recruiter was cold and distant. Received a form rejection letter.
Awful experience. Based on how they treat candidates during the recruitment process would not recommend.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at SmartAsset (New York, NY) in Feb 2022
Interview
I was able to get to the last round. The interviewer asked me an incredibly open ended object-orientated design question. He was also half asleep completely reclined in his chair and mumbling into the mic as if he was high off of Quaaludes . I had to ask the interviewer to repeat themselves often. I knew I was already done for. Sure enough, I was rejected for not being good enough at the object-orientated design question. What a rip off of time.
