I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Sloan Boutique (Portland, OR) in May 2014
Interview
The team was very kind and supportive during the interview process. They called me for an in person interview which was very to the point, and open for any questions or additional discussion. It was later followed by a performance test. The environment was very warm and welcoming, and helpful to make anyone feel more comfortable.
It was easy! The questions weren't too difficult. The girls were really nice and friendly! I had to wait a little bit for the interview to start. I also liked the overall vibe of the store, and there were a lot of clothes that were appealing to me (which is why I wanted to work there). The manager told me that they don't hire on the spot and there are two more steps to the hiring process. The first interview was just a little informational one, where I sat down with one of the girls who oversaw the chain of boutiques. I think the next steps are another sit down interview and a floor review/ trial period.
