I had applied back in May and didn't get a response until beginning of July and from there, the whole process took almost an entire month.
Met with the internal recruiter and asked questions about my interests. From there I met with the hiring manager and one other devops engineer on the team, talked about my work history. Lastly moved on to the last round with two more devops engineers from the team and this was more or so around my technical skills.
In the end I didn't receive an offer as they said they found someone else who best fits their needs. Firstly, they were never specific in their needs. Secondly, the position is still open, which clearly makes them liars. No need to say you're going to for someone else to make me feel better. Then again, this could be a phony position which is to make it seem like the company is growing and that they are hiring when they are really not.
