The interview was held in a hotel, not far from Heathrow airport. The day started with a presentation on what the training and job entailed. We met a current employee who had also gone through the same training. We were given a task on where we would place a satellite dish on a person’s home. We were given information on where we couldn’t place the satellite dish. We then did a short role play with the interviewer who pretended to be the home owner. I explained to the interviewer where I would put her new dish and why. I also asked her to move any hazards. After, we were told we passed this stage of the assessment. Next was the interview, I was called backed into the room were two other interviews were going on. I was asked why I wanted to do this job? Tell me about a time you worked alone. How do I feel about working alone? After the interview, I was told I passed and along with the other interviewees that we had all got the job as long as we passed medical test. Next was the medical test. I was tested on hearing, sight, colour recognition and weighed. I was told straight away I passed the medical. I was emailed a few days later saying a passed the assessment and interview. A month later I was emailed saying I didn’t get the job as they had received an overwhelming response for the role.
