Mission: Believing in better is how we approach everything we do.
I have been working at Sky full-time (Less than a year)
Very relaxed, and comfortable place to work. You can be yourself and no need to put on a facede. Depending on the department you work in, it's generally not much formal. The Osterley site is a bit more relaxed than the Victoria site. Nevertheless, it's a great place to work.
The team is great, since you would normally see them everyday, you really do bond and become a family. Besides it's Mon to Fri (9-5) so great hours.
Travelling can be a bit tedious, especially for the Osterley site. If you don't live closely.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sky (Leeds, England (UK)) in June-2018.
The interview consisted of 3 stages, phone interview at first with 2 developers, then a tech test, last but not least is the face to face interview with 3 team members, one is the department head, one is a senior developer I had phone interview with and a new developer who i think leads the development team. The whole process took about 2 weeks. Everyone I dealt with during the interview process were super nice and very helpful and kind, which is what draws me to the company. The training programme is also the biggest perk imo
