      Business Analyst Interview

      Dec 15, 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Sitetracker in Sep 2025

      Interview

Interview process was SEVEN ROUNDS (recruiter, hiring manager, HR manager, team manager, whiteboard assessment, company co-founder, COO). After passing all rounds and reference checks with flying colors, they decided they still needed to meet with other candidates. Several weeks have passed with no communication or actions on their part. Don’t waste your time with this company like they have wasted mine.

      Business Analyst Interview

      Jan 8, 2026
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Sitetracker in Dec 2025

      Interview

The interview process is somewhat more extensive than other jobs I have interviewed for (7 total rounds), however they let you know what to expect up front not only on their site but also when talking with the recruiter during the initial interview. First interview is with the recruiter, second is with the hiring manager, third is with people who you may be working with, fourth was a values interview with HR, Fifth was a practical exercise where I walked someone through how I would run a requirements gathering meeting, then interviews with some higher executives. All in all it took about 5 weeks from start to finish.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

How do you handle conflicting expectations of what a projects final deliverable may be between what the customer wants and what the developers think they want?

      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Sitetracker

      Interview

Don’t play with our emotions!! I went through five rounds of interviews over two months. I got positive feedback after almost every round, and was told the team really liked me. I took time off, spent hours preparing, and genuinely got excited about the company and the role. Then after all that, I got a one-line rejection saying I “wasn’t a good fit”. No real feedback, no explanation. It felt like a total waste of time and energy, especially after being led to believe I was a top candidate. If you’re going to put candidates through this many steps, be clearer about expectations and at least offer real feedback at the end. Disappointing experience overall.
