Straight forward video call about my experience and the position. It felt more like a casual conversation which I loved. I was interviewed by my to be manager. I asked him about his experience and how long he worked at the company.
The asked simple questions and wanted to get to know a little about myself. Asked how I heard about the position. Why I was interested and so forth. That's all.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at SimplePart (Atlanta, GA) in Nov 2022
Interview
There were two interviews, the first was a quick preliminary to ask about experience/why you want to work here/general questions (around 15 minutes) and the other was longer (around 45-60 minutes) and got into more technical questions. The first had three people observing with one asking questions, and the second had five all taking turns. Everybody was easygoing throughout and eventually the interview felt less like an interview and more like a conversation. Started discussing an offer a few days later.
