I applied online and had to fill out a very detailed form. It included an essay explaining why I’m a good fit for the company, a detailed description of past projects, and a code review for a small piece of code.
After completing this form and spending an hour on it, I was completely ignored. It is disrespectful to waste candidates' time for an application and then ghost them.
