Interview
Chaotic Interview Process – Unprofessional and Disrespectful to Candidates. A recruiter reached out on a Friday to schedule a call, then went silent for five full days with no follow-up or confirmation, and finally called out of the blue. During the call, which was held in a loud, distracting environment, the recruiter asked multiple questions that could’ve been easily answered by simply reading my resume. For example, she asked where I had worked and what type of experience I had, then reacted with surprise to answers clearly stated on my application, a strong sign she hadn't reviewed it at all. After assuring me I’d hear back the following week, I was instead sent a generic rejection, while the job posting remains live. This company seems to have ongoing openings year-round, which makes sense given the poor experience and unprofessionalism during the hiring process. The experience gave me serious doubts about how staff are treated internally if this is how they treat applicants.
