I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at SieMatic in May 2025
Interview
It was through a recruiting company (the recruiting company was great this is not a review on them), and the interview with the company itself was a zoom call that included an AI recorder (undisclosed beforehand). They did not provide much information when requested. They gave me a start date over a month away so I waited for them and then 2 business days before informed me that I would not be starting “for another month or two” and their reasoning was that “they got a new CEO who placed a hiring freeze” on them (the newest CEO has been there for almost a year). PLEASE BE WARNED.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Very basic, generic questions that I was already asked when being screened— no new questions actually asked.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at SieMatic (Hamburg) in Jul 2020
Interview
I started working with this company by accident during Covid and it was a very nice and chill experience. The people that I've met do far and really hardworking. My interview process was a very chill conversation with the Manager of one of their many studios. He was very friendly and asked questions about my passion, where I want to go in life and the interview became a real conversation really fast. Though I don't think that this is the way they usually hire people, I'm positive about the fact that they will give you a chance if you're truly dedicated to what you're doing.
