I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Shields Health Solutions (Stoughton, MA) in Aug 2025
Interview
Shields HR reached out to me to request and schedule an initial screening interview call. This initial screening call was very prompt and smooth. The HR recruiter then reached back out to me (same day even I believe) to schedule another interview with the current Tech BA Team Lead. This also was scheduled and took place very quickly. I was then scheduled in fairly short order for a 3rd interview with the Tech BA Manager, which also happened fairly quickly. In all, I was scheduled for a total of 4 interviews all taking place over the course of a week.

Question 1
I was asked appropriate and reasonable education, work experience, and skills questions. I was asked some specific technical skills questions, including SQL examples relevant to the Tech BA role.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Shields Health Solutions (Quincy, MA) in Aug 2018
Interview
Worked with an agency, was invited to a phone interview with a lateral team member for the position. Phone interview went quite well with that individual and was invited to an in-person interview (which by the way, turned out to be for a different role than initially interviewed over the phone).
I found myself onsite and scheduled to interview with individuals on multiple levels throughout the company - all the way to a VP. Everyone that I interviewed with seemed nice and the conversations were fluid with what seemed like mutual interest. Although one of the interviewers seemed tired (she kept yawning), uninterested and unprepared with meaningful interview questions. Not sure how she got her job.
Long story short, I wrapped up interviews with Shields in about 2.5 hours. Based on the conversations and interactions of my interviews, everything seemed to have gone well. After a week of no feedback - the agency finally provided very generic and confusing feedback which stated that I had a great personality but my skills did not match ANY of their openings. That's quite confusing as Shields initially invited me to a phone screen, invited me onsite to interview with several individuals only to provide that type of feedback. Everyone seemed to have put on a great show during my onsite interviews.
Typically, "professionals" determine if someone has the necessary skills before inviting them to any phone or onsite interview. Furthermore, interviewers should never seem disinterested during an interview while not having much to say or offer to move the conversation along.
Do better going forward with your decision making, internal processes and feedback and do not waste anyone's valuable time!! No excuse Shields, no excuse. Future applicants - take note. HR also mentioned that they are very picky.

Question 1
A 'hammer and nail' cost riddle question which was a bit weird to ask during an interview that had nothing to do with the role.
