I was interviewed at this organization for three hours by Greg Grote the CFO as well as three other people he asked to join us at different times through out the interview process. I was interviewing for a Staff Accountants position. The interview took place in late November of 2015. About two weeks later (on 12/2/15), I was called by Valerie in HR and was given a verbal offer of employment. They offered me $5,000 less than the lowest amount of salary range I had listed on my resume. I was a little shocked to say the least. I promptly counter offered and they said they could not go any higher then what they had offered but would agree to give me an additional $2,000 raise in 90 days as long as I had a good review. I agreed to this even though it was way below my normal salary range. Their benefits were excellent and the position seemed like a great fit and a great company to work for. Valerie from HR asked if I would be available to start on Monday, 12/14/15 and if I was formally excepting their offer. I said I was and could start on that date. Valerie said she would be in contact with me early the next week. When I didn't hear from her early that next week, I emailed her with no response. I then left Greg a voice mail with no response. Neither one of them had the courtesy to call me back or email me. At 4pm on the Friday (12/11/15) before I was supposed to start working there the following Monday, they sent me a blank email with a letter attached saying they had decided to pursue another candidate. WHAT???? I was appalled by the unprofessional manner in which this matter was handled. They drug me out for nine days leading me to believe that I would be starting there on 12/14/15 to not even have the courtesy to call me in person to explain. I had already taken my resume down from Career Builder and Monster and had even passed on another offer for employment. BE AWARE, AS THIS COMPANY WILL MISLEAD YOU AND HAS NO CONSIDERATION FOR OTHER PEOPLE. DO NOT APPLY HERE UNLESS YOU HAVE TIME TO WASTE AND ARE NOT SERIOUS ABOUT FINDING A JOB! I WOULD GIVE THIS COMPANY A NEGATIVE 5 STARS IF IT WAS POSSIBLE. WHAT KIND OF PLACE DOES THAT TO PEOPLE?
