After three rounds of interviews, I was dropped down a black hole and direct questions on simple status at 1, 3 and 8 weeks were completely ignored (by both email and LinkedIn). DURING the interview process, I got responses within 24 hours. I've since scratched ServiceNow off the list of possible companies to pursue in the future. They've adopted a new disturbing trend of "ghosting" candidates (the black hole effect). This says a lot about the culture, in my opinion. Note to HR: Giving simple status is not rocket science. (1) Next Steps (2) Not a good fit (3) In Progress. What would you expect if the situation were flipped around? Would you describe it as disrespectful? Unprofessional?
