I applied through other source. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Sentient Energy (Frisco, TX)
Interview
I was already entertaining an offer when I was approached about the opportunity. Sentient moved fast to have a phone screening, an initial phone interview, then an onsite interview within 3 days. They asked reasonably technical questions, had everyone who I would interact with regularly get a chance to talk with me, and extended a very reasonable offer, quickly.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
There was a strong focus on the need to ruggedize the products, so many questions revolved around my familiarity with IP ratings, manufacturing processes, and materials. For example, they asked what experience I had with creating IP rated enclosures.
First interview was on the phone then onsite with 5 engineers and the director. Among the engineers, there were developers and test engineers. I was taken to the lab to show the products.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Sentient Energy in Mar 2018
Interview
I applied on LinkedIn and was contacted by HR to setup an interview. There was two interviews, both by phone, from team leads. I thought both calls were good, the interviewers asked some detailed questions but also took a minute to answer a few I had. The calls lasted about 30 minutes each.
