A face to face interview was arranged via recruiter. I then met with the company's recruiter for a brief interview followed by an interview with their director and technical team (of two people).

The entire interview format consisted of "this job involves X... how do you feel about that?" I got the impression that I was the first person they ever interviewed for a position like this.
