The role was advertised as a DevOps position, but once the team explained how they actually work, it became clear that the role has little to do with DevOps in practice. The software stack and infrastructure they use are extremely outdated, and some of the tools they mentioned were completely unfamiliar to me. It genuinely felt as though time had stopped there decades ago.
Within the first five minutes of the interview, I already knew that—even if I were to receive an offer—I would not accept it.
Additionally, the interview experience itself was quite unpleasant. The interviewers appeared unfriendly and were multitasking during the interview, which came across as disrespectful and unprofessional.
