I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Save the Children US (Fairfield, CT)
Interview
I phone screened with someone from HR and then I had a phone interview then an in person interview. I got to meet with the person who would be my boss and the Director of the team/department. So cool to see the office, it's really branded!
I applied online. I interviewed at Save the Children US in Oct 2020
Interview
There were 3 rounds of interviews:
1. A 15-20 minute basic phone screening interview with HR recruiter to obtain the basic information
2. A panel interview with team manager and team members to discuss the specific roles and skills, and how my experience would be relevant
3. A panel interview with team manager and department head to discuss overall contribution to department and team through role
The interviews were extremely educational and informative. They consisted of a dialog / discussion of the position, its fit with other roles, and contribution to the mission and department.
Three round of interviews were intense for the Coordinator level position. However, the departmental work and team is also top level and intense, so it was made sense.
The interviewers were very helpful, explained / educated and taught me through the interview process, and they were kind putting me at easy. They also made sure that I had an accurate grasp and understanding of the role. It was fascinating and mind opening, and truly gave me an accurate glimpse of what it would be like working in the organization in this particular department. I was given an opportunity to also ask questions and make comments.

Interview
My interviewer was very sweet and did an excellent job explaining the responsibilities of the position and her expectations for the successful candidate. It was very conversational in nature, which was a huge relief for me as I was very nervous going in.
