I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Samsung Electronics in Sep 2014
Interview
I was referred by my friend and contacted by HR at the same day. I was interviewed by a hiring manager. The interview was supposed to start at 12:00PM, but the hiring manager called me after 12:30PM. After talking with me about my background for 3 minutes, the interview finished. And I never got any feedbacks from HR even I sent emails for him.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Samsung Electronics (Warsaw, Masovia) in Apr 2024
Interview
They did ask technical questions about kotlin and then showed me code to solve as well as asked about any other languages if i knew any besides it. It's been quite a challenge but the recruiter wanted to get to know me more for sure
I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Samsung Electronics (Nanjing, Jiangsu) in Jul 2023
Interview
It starts with a phone screen discussing fundamentals like Kotlin, Java, and core Android components. If successful, you'll proceed to a technical interview, which usually includes live coding on a platform like CoderPad or a pair programming exercise. Here, you might be asked to build a simple feature or debug existing code, testing your knowledge of architecture patterns like MVVM, Jetpack libraries, and threading. The final rounds often involve a system design question and behavioral interviews to assess your problem-solving approach and team fit.
