I applied online. I interviewed at Sam's Club (Texas City, TX) in Mar 2022
Interview
Routine questions, basic formalities wasn’t very through, didn’t seem to mind me being late, very nice HR personal though. Benefits seemed to be lacking and the pay scale range was bismal.
Online application first, then fairly informal check-in, followed by in-person. Although for this position internal growth opportunity so the process was a bit different than from the initial process starting at the front register.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How do you handle demanding priorities as a manager?
It was very thorough, there were a lot of questions I didn't expect. They asked a lot of questions about my background. They asked where I lived and where and what I expected in the next 5 years. They wanted me to recommend someone too.
Process was straight and conducive. 1 interview in person and another virtually with more detailed questions on the second run. Get a better feel of the company. 1 process is straight forward.
