I had two interviews, one panel/selection interview with other local governments + HR and another interview with the department hiring for the position. The first interview was about the qualifications for the position, the second was position-related.

Interview
First round was virtual with a panel from other city agencies asked 6 standardized questions regarding customer service experience, computer related experience, as well as how you independently research and collect data for a new assignment given. Second round was in person with the department leads asking similar questions.
