Interviews for Top Jobs at SVEF

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Mountain View, CA
I interviewed at SVEF (Mountain View, CA)
Initial conversation was on phone and was pleasant and professional. Invitation for panel interview received. First impression was that the culture felt tense and as a team the seemed to struggle in welcoming me to the interview (Heads down, remained seated, left it up to me to warm the room, which I did try to do). The experience left me questioning a few things about working there. I didn’t hear back by when they mentioned so I followed up.
- Why have you been at some of your jobs for only one or two years?
- How can we can improve our programs?

I applied online. I interviewed at SVEF in Apr 2019
Very smooth, was only asked about my motivations and prior teaching experience. Interviewer was extremely friendly and helpful in providing insight regarding company, their own role, and expectations for incoming interns.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at SVEF (San Jose, CA) in Mar 2016
I briefly knew a few associates prior and reached out. I reached out and met with my contact. Then met with the CEO and the rest of the team.
- Why SVEF?

There is one interview only. The interview is about 30 -45 minute long. It's very straight forward type of question about your back ground, your personality, you interest, and they also ask you to demonstrate your skill , as well as type of question of how to deal with specific situation.
- How to deal with a student who does not want to study?

Anonymous Employee in San Jose, CA
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at SVEF (San Jose, CA) in Feb 2015
professional, they don't ask tough questions and require you to know everything. They accept not knowing as an answer and give you a chance to make it up with your other advantages/skills. I was interviewed by 3 people and they were helpful and interested in getting to know about myself. They cared more about what I know and how passion I am about the industry. They were also honest about the company culture and answered my questions thoroughly.
- What do you know about cleaning up data?
