Interview
A long 4/5 interview process that took place over the course of 1 -2 months. At times there were significant drops in communication and last minute adjustments.
At the end I was told they were making an job offer for me, just to get rug pulled by them a week later by them stating that they were going with someone else. When asked for clarification on why this occurred, since not only is this unprofessional it is something I had never experienced before, I was ghosted. Would stay away from future interactions with this organization as a whole.

Typical SQL and data pipelining questions as well data analysis.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at SPHERE Technology Solutions (Newark, NJ) in May 2023
Interview
Met with a handful of key people, ranging from CTO to VP of Product. As well as the exiting SE Leader. I finally had to ask for demo of the product. Progressed to onsite which they flew me out for the meeting. Day of the presentation on-site and they really didn't have a format, they were looking for people for me to meet with. The CEO hadn't even taken the time to look at who I was. I was told I would present and if it went well I'd walk out with an offer. Day before flying out the tone changed to the process is going to take longer, which of course I understood. But then they drug it out over the course of almost another month where the person I was interviewing with blew off two more of our calls. Finally was told, we need someone onsite, why in the world did you fly me out in the first place? Complete waste of my time!

Two rounds of interviews, first was behavioral and second was a mix of behavioral and technical. Get to meet team leads and overall low-stress atmosphere - second round often more than one interviewer present.
