SPAN Enterprises interview questions

Straightforward but rather odd. I applied online and immediately was told to take a phone interview. Before I could even do this, the recruiter emailed me saying she was impressed and wanted to interview me. I came in two days later to interview and while they were pleasant enough, it was obvious that no one had actually looked at my application. They asked me general questions about writing and my writing samples which I sent before the interview as requested. I was then told how impressive their healthcare was and there was a rather oddly condescending tone to the entire back half of the interview. I was told I would hear back in a weeks time either way after my interview and to this day have heard nothing from them. I am now employed elsewhere but it is extremely unprofessional that they could not even be bothered to get back to me saying that they had decided to pursue other applicants. Rather odd and unprofessional experience, especially when it was obvious I was shuttled in the door to interview with people who had not taken the time to actually examine my credentials. I am overall glad I was not selected to work for them.
