      Software Engineer Interview

      Nov 27, 2018

      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

      I interviewed at SCRAM Systems

      Interview

I had to wait one hour for the interviewer to be ready. After he made time for the scheduled interview he was constantly interrupted by others and was required to leave mid way. I was then interviewed by other people around the office. Main interviewer never talked to me after he initially left.

      Interview

I applied online and it took 2 months. First, I had a response regarding application through email, had first in-person interview, then take-home assignment, and on-site interview. Unprofessional with interview schedules, and very unorganized and slow hiring process.

      Software Engineer Interview

      Mar 11, 2016
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Littleton, CO
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at SCRAM Systems (Littleton, CO) in Mar 2015

      Interview

Had some doubts about this position. Recruiter called me a month earlier about this job and then heard nothing. When pressed recruiter admitted that they were changing their minds about if they wanted to bring in FTE's or just outsource the positions. About a week after that they apparently decided again to hire 1 FTE (which probably should of been the 1st red flag). I did the phone screen and it went ok. The recruiter called and said they wanted a Face to Face! We agreed on day and time. Then 30 minutes later, he asked if I would be interested in doing a CTH instead. I said that wasn't what I was looking for. He assured me it was not a problem, they were just being cautious as they had just fired someone that wasn't working out (or so they say). Needless to say that should of raised another red flag for me. I wound up spending a lot of my weekend doing their technical exercises and then when the interview came, they didn't even discuss it. I first met with the manager and he asked if I had any questions. Then I went into the group interview and each technical lead asked me some questions. The group was friendly, but apparently they were looking for something else. All in all, I should of probably skipped this one, because of the early on indecision. I'd rather know now, then after I'm there that things might not have worked out.
