The 1st round interview was brief the owner went over the clients and there management training program. The 1st round was a lot of information to take in but well needed coming in not knowing a lot about the business.
I was scheduled for a 2nd round interview. In this interview they got to know me a lot more figuring out my strengths/weakness. I really like the structure they have set in place on how they explain the opportunity. You start off in the entry level management role which they want you to self management, understand there marketing strategies and they teach you how to generate revenue for there clients.
Then the candidate is looking to get promoted to start building there skills on the human resources within the business. From learning how to recruit to conducting interviews having the opportunity to get hands on experience with teaching others.
From there they teach you how to build a brand from the ground such as creating AD's, Press Releases, Social Media Branding, Logos, Websites. While all shadowing the director. Once these steps are being done consistently they are looking to promote that candidate to the Marketing Management position. I think personally this was a great structure to get someone like me with not much experience to a role I see myself in with the right guidance.
Side Note:
Ju'Michael the director is a formal college football player from a Division 1 school. He had no experience with marketing coming out of college which he told me in the interview which I also checked on LinkedIn. He now runs his own marketing firm going through this same opportunity. I'm excited to hopefully get offered the position.
