I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Royal Mail (Milton Keynes, England) in Jul 2022
Interview
After filling some online forms and completing some test, I was invited for an interview. Just the one interviewer who asked a round 5 questions. All which required scenarios and examples. Very straightforward. Your answers are scored and the highest scores wins essentially.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Can you tell me a time where you had to do with a difficult situation and how did you overcome it.
Interview was fairly laid back with a few simple questions and a quick tour of the delivery office . The Manager was friendly and the job was offered a day or so later.
Questions are given ahead of time, quite relaxed environment as you are able to prepare your answers in advance and the usually stick to the same questions maybe with the odd question about what sort of working environments you are used to.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Royal Mail (Gravesend, England) in Apr 2026
Interview
I attended an interview for the Postperson with Driving role at Gravesend Delivery Office. My first interview appointment was cancelled when I arrived, and I was asked to book another appointment.
During the rescheduled interview, I was mainly asked about my driving licence, penalty points, and availability. The interview was short and included a brief explanation about the role and daily work.
After the interview, I received feedback mentioning areas that were not discussed in detail during the interview, which I found confusing and disappointing.
